OAG Ranks Airlines With Baddest On-Time Reps

The British air travel intelligence service was founded in 1929 when passenger aircraft were just emerging. OAG recently rated the US airlines with the most frequent unflier records.

At the top of the list and bottom of on-time records are United, Southwest and American. According to the OAG report, Delta and Hawaiian Airlines are the most reliable.

Of course, as any experienced senior frequent flier will tell you, it’s all based on random luck. On any given day of crowded skies the list can be reversed. Bad weather, mechanical troubles, jammed runways, passengers being dragged off and many other factors can cause delays.

Should I Take Formal Wear On A Cruise? PDF Print E-mail

Q: I’m going on my first cruise since my wife passed away five years ago. We sailed together at least once a year through the 1980s. It’s a senior singles cruise, and I’m a bit confused. I’ve been told passengers can wear anything they want, including at the scheduled dress-up dinner/dance.

When my wife and I cruised, we always took good clothing, and on at least one night, went formal. Should I take my tux on this upcoming cruise? RFT, Milwaukee WI

3.Santa Monica CA: Ahnald did it. Today, that guy flexing his abs next to you on the sand may someday become the Governator of Caleefornia. Stroll along the shore, sink your toes in the warm sand, splash the surf and feed the sea gulls.

“Some Like It Hot” had its premiere at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood in 1959. All the stars of the film are now gone, including Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis, George Raft, Pat O’Brien and Joe E. Brown. It was directed by the late multi-Academy Award winner, Billy Wilder.

Although the setting of most of the movie was supposed to be in a 1920s Florida beachfront hotel, it was filmed at the famed Hotel Del Coronado, a beautiful resort on an island connected by bridge to the city of San Diego, California.
