Do It Mid-Week: Compare weekend vs weekday airline, hotel, club, restaurant and entertainment prices. You’ll find mid-week visits are much more economical. Additionally, Las Vegas is less crowded then, allowing easier entry into all Sin City has to offer.

The capital city of Hawaii can be a very expensive place to visit. Hotels, taxis, restaurants, sightseeing, cruises and other costs can really mount up. However, savvy seniors can find activities in beautiful Honolulu that are both enjoyable and absolutely (and almost) free. Waikiki Beach: Check out the Hawaiian Village Hotel area for fireworks nights, concerts and other scheduled beachside events. Watch the surfing at the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon, named for the famed Hawaiian swimmer who earned five Olympic medals in the early 1900s.

Most recent examples include fake airline offers claiming to be from Southwest, Virgin and Delta. Celebrity Cruises’ Summit will be commanded by San Francisco native Kate McCue when it sails to Bermuda from the East Coast in August. The 91,000-ton ship carries more than 3,000 passengers and crew.
Not yet 40, McCue rose through the cruise line ranks to the position of Master Mariner. She's a graduate of California State University's California Maritime Academy.
