A recent visitor to the city sent us this iconic night scene. For you Noo Yawkers, the Underground sign is for a stop on London’s historic subway system, also known as The Tube.

London’s was the world’s first, starting service in 1863. The NYC trains didn’t get rolling until 1904. The famous Big Ben clock tower in the photo has loomed over the Palace of Westminster and Parliament buildings since 1858.
