Where the $#@#$ is the nearest @#$# hotel?

When visiting one of the top ten U.S. cities that have the most cursing citizens, the blue air may help. You can then feel free to tell off misbehaving cabbies, waiters, hotel clerks  and others in the same foul language.

So, next time you’re there, prepare to cuss in these $#%& cities, according to a recent Wall Street Journal report, listed in rank ... very rank ... order:

Washington DC: Who wouldn’t curse in a @#$% town full of $#% politicians?
Denver CO: Every time I visit, I get a %#$@ Rocky Mountain high!

Swinging London: Holy Hendrix! A Half-Century Ago! PDF Print E-mail

The usually staid British capital city is remembering pop musical icons from 1966 with the 50th anniversary of Swinging London. The Beatles had already conquered America two years earlier, and others were achieving similar world popularity.

Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones, Pete Townsend, Tom Jones, The Dave Clark Five, The Who, Freddie and the Dreamers, and Herman’s Hermits were rocking on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.

Of course, this is also the year all of Great Britain is celebrating the 90th birthday Queen Elizabeth II. If you’ll be in town for the royal festivities, reserve a day to relive some of the rock’n’roll memories and locales of 1960s Swinging London. Check with local tour companies about schedules.
