Know Where You Can’t Stick Your Selfie Stick PDF Print E-mail

It has caught on around the world in just the last decade or so. After the intro of smartphones and their many capabilities, some smarty invented the selfie stick. Connected and pointed, it allows you to hold it out at arm’s length and get your face into every photo you shoot.

However, not all are thrilled with the snoopy little device and the disruption it can cause. When traveling, before pointing and shooting, know the rules about selfie sticks at all public locations.  Don’t make a selfish pest out of your selfie efforts.

For example, selfies are forbidden in many museums, sports events, churches, concerts, train stations and private ceremonies. Additionally, that uniformed bobby or gendarme may not want to stop traffic while you jam your face next to his for a selfie.
