Shakespeare spent much of his life in the town located in the English countryside an hour from London. The hotel exterior is of the familiar Tudor open-timbered beams and white cement, and located in the center of the town.

It’s just a short walk to the Bard’s home named for his wife, the Anne Hathaway House. Rooms are named for Shakespeare characters, including Hamlet and Ophelia, Romeo and Juliet, Oberon and Claudius. The hotel also features a pub, appropriately named Othello’s.
