This vintage boutique hostelry is located in the historic Flatiron District, near Union Square and Gramercy Park, on Lexington between 21st and 22nd Sts.

If your travels take you there, you may run into current celebrities, and just maybe the ghosts of those of the past. Some come for cocktails at the Rose Bar, dinner at Maialino Restaurant, while others bed down for a night or two. Don’t be surprised to see Lady Gaga, Sting, Bob Dylan or others.

The halls once rang with the voices and laughter of such vintage stars as the Beatles, Humphry Bogart and Frank Sinatra. Going back even further into Gramercy Park Hotel history, guests have included Babe Ruth and John F. Kennedy.

Room rates are from about $350, including champagne and breakfast. For more info, go to www.designhotels.com/gramercy
