NYC Area Airport Security Easier For Seniors

TSA has eased the requirements for air travelers in New York area airports over age 75. No longer will they need to take off shoes, belts and jackets as they go through John F. Kennedy, La Guardia and Newark Liberty.

We can assume that if no elderly terrorists are detected at other U.S. airports, the new regulations will soon also apply throughout the country.

It’s traditional for Sin City cabbies to take the long highway route to Strip hotels from the airport. A quicker street route takes 10 minutes and costs $25. The money-making highway robbery ride takes 25 minutes and costs a sinful $50.

So, on your next Vegas venture by air, consider renting a car at the airport. Parking is free at hotels, and rental cars are from $15 per day. While in the city, if you’ll be visiting other hotels, Hoover Dam and nearby desert sites, it’s smart to have a rental car. It’s cheaper and more convenient to drive instead of cabbing it expensively everywhere, especially to and from the airport.
