Los Angeles CA: Sky-High InterContinental LA Downtown


The tallest hotel west of the Mississippi River reaches up 1,100 feet, with 73 stories. The structure contains business, conference and retail for the first 30 stories, with guest rooms and suites from the 31st to the penthouse 70th floor.

The 1940s were it’s glory years, because air travel was still in its infancy.  Millions of we now old vets saw Grand Central from troop trains on our way to and from wartime assignments throughout the world.

Today nearly a million people pass through the station daily. So, what would be the most important and convenient things to do when required to spend an hour or more in Grand Central?
