According to latest news, BA claims it is open to talks with pilots’ union Balpa, and offers affected customers full refunds or the option to rebook. Until further notice, all flights have been cancelled.

BA says it has offered pilots a pay rise of 11.5% over the next three years, but the union says its members want a bigger share of the company’s profits. Records show there have been BA pilot salary increases of about 10% annually over the past several years, bringing the average pay to $90,000, not including entry fees into the Mile High Club.
